The automated machine translation system provides text, document and website translation. Integrated terminology dictionary solution and translated text synthesis capability.

Speech recognition

Speech recognition is possible in two modes — in dictation and audio recording processing mode. Recognized speech is converted into written text.

Speech synthesis supports document and input text synthesis and reproduction. The user can choose the text pronunciation speed, voice type and timbre.

Latgalian language spelling

The Latgalian language spelling tool finds errors and proposes possible corrections to them in Latgalian written text.

Virtual assistant catalogue

All public administration and municipal body virtual assistants are collated in the virtual assistant catalogue.

Translation environment

The translation assistant is a simple CAT tool available online, which supports machine translation fin Latvian-Russian-Latvian and Latvian-English-Latvian translation directions.

Mobile apps allow to use hugo.lv on your mobile device - translate and enjoy text to speech.

The speech gadget allows to highlight text and deliver it to the hugo.lv text to speech page by right-clicking on the mouse.

Speech module allows you to install hugo.lv speech synthesis on your computer, which allows you to use it for Microsoft Windows applications even without an Internet connection.

SDL plug-ins

SDL plug-ins allow Hugo.lv to execute translation in the translation software SDL Trados Studio.
